My daughter has a little Minnie Mouse suitcase that is about the same size as Hand Baggage Suitcases i have seen.
Has anyone used these as hand luggage before?

Yes. Funnily enough, we bought one a few years ago at the Disney Store in Peterborough and my niece used it has her main luggage when she was tiny. But she used it as hand baggage for both Euro-Disney in 2001 and Orlando in 2004.

us too! our girls use them each time we fly, very useful for all their bits to keep them entertained!
My little ones use them too! They are so cute!!!![msnsmile]
We use two as carry on luggage on the flight over for knick knacks and they go in the hold on the way back (pretty sturdy as they have lasted at least 4 trips so far).

My son has a buzz lightyear one, and takes great pleasure in setting the flashing lights off each time it goes through the security screening. I find this quite useful as he will happily take responsibility for his case, and Its one less thing for me to carry

Our son has a Buzz Lightyear one, which he takes on flights as hand luggage. It's been used loads for holidays and when he goes off to stay at the grandparents overnight. It got left on a Train in Switzerland a couple of years back, only noticed when we got to the airport to checkin but managed to find it at the lostluggage, someone had handed it in.[msnsmile2] It's a great thing to have.
We bought one yesterday in the UK for our Daughter. It is an Aladin one.
For info Disney shops in UK are presently having a half price sale. The Aladin case was only £5.99.
I sent Mrs G in the Disney shop to exchange something, whilst I waited outside. She came out with bags and bags. Good sale but now I have no money left[msnsad]

I love seeing kids with these types of bags, pulling themselves over almost!! We saw a little girl last week about 3 she had a princessy one and she was dragging it on the fabric side with the wheels facing the sky..lovely and cute!!! I think it is a great idea to make kids carry all their own essentials!!!!!

We used to have a little one who used a Little Mermaid one!! Arhhhh. Not cool now apparently? She is 12 mind!!
Amy has the minnie mouse one, she can find what she needs easier than with a backpack as these end up tipped upside down.
