Hi everybody
I have heard that Mannys is a great restaurant in the Haines City area.
Any others that can be recommended?

Hi
Try Garrys Oyster Bar - on the 1792 towards Lake Alfred - FABULOUS!!!
The clubhouse restaurant at Southern Dunes is very good.
They are open for breakfast and lunch every day, but only do evening meals on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening.
We are planning to try Cafe Doughmonde in Haines city when we next visit.

There is a good Chinese opposite Southern Dunes but I can't remember the name. Eat in or take out.

http://www.doughmonde.com/ Looks good!
We had a decent Chinese takeaway from the new shops that have opened just past Winn Dixie.
Another good Chinese is the Grand Chinese buffet up near the junction of the 27 and I4. Lunch is served till 3.30 and dinner. When we went is was filled with locals (always a good sign).

MMMMmm that looks like one for us to try
We met the owner before Christmas at the Outpost Christmas fayre and he was giving out tasters. Unfortunately as we were moving about so much we never got the chance to visit but based on the quality of the free samples would definitely try it.

Definately worth a visit, it's a little bit different to what else is out there.
There's a map on the website.
