Hi,
We've been at the end of February and had lovely weather. Sunny most days, just one day of showers but temperatures in the seventies which was great for the children - not too uncomfortable for them.
I hope its good for you.[msnsmile]

We were there in February 2002 and the weather albeit sunny was terribly cold - it was between 56 degrees and the mid 60's, so we were told! I think it was a bit of freak weather at that time of the year, I ended up spending the 2nd week of my hols in bed with flu - not much fun in a one room Disney Hotel I can tell you and ended up off work for two weeks following my return. We ended up having to buy sweat shirts and warmer clothes when we got there. However, I know this is not the norm, so hopefully you will be ok next year.
However, has not put me off, am going in 2 weeks time just to make sure the weather is nice and hot!:D:D

Can be hit and \miss really, we have been out in January where it was in the eighties and then on another trip 60s. It is always warmer than home so who cares!!!!!!!!![}:)]

We were there for 10 days in Feb 03 and the weather was lovely. Averaged mid 70s though cooler during the evenings. When we arrived (around 15th it was mid 60s that day and then it changed to mid 70s with the last day being 80 degrees.
The weather really suited me as I really don't like it hot and humid and there was a freshness to it.

been in Jan and was warm (ish). But no showers and we came back with a nice tan.
We went Feb 2000 - left behind cold wet miserable Britain and arrived in sunny Miami (flights were £125 pp so even better!)
Weather was glorious - high 70s / early 80s during the day and cooler at night. Didn't need the jumpers or coats we had taken, tshirts and shorts all the time. Came back with a lovely tan and one of the nicest times to go away.
Sadly have been stuck with GCSE / A levels with one or other of the gals since then, only another 3 years to go!
We were there this February (11th - 21st) and the weather was fine in the afternoons. Up until noon is was a little chilly and we needed our fleeces out at the parks (and if in the shade), but afternoons were wonderful.
Evenings were chilly too, but still ok out on the lanai with a fleece on[8D]

Went 1st March 2002.
Windy and warm on arrival 82F, warm and nice next day 80ish.
Absolutely b****y freezing the day after that, strong wind, no sunshine 54F. Not much better the next day 61F but sunny.
Picked up after that and was consistently high 70s low 80's, but most days very little humidity. You only really noticed this went you went in and out of the pool. It was explained in the weather forecast 1 night about it. It was hotter one day but felt cool when wet due to low humidity, yet the next day air temp was cooler but higher humidity meant you still felt warm when wet.
Good time of year to go as the queues were non existent in the parks and we had no rain at all for the whole 2 weeks.

Went in Feb 1994, FREEZING!!! Been every year since too, BUT NOT in FEB!!!! To be fair, I was a real sunseeker then, but if you go prepared for "hit & Miss" you could well have a nice surprise. To be fair, there is so much to do, as long as you have the right clothing options, being chilly doesn't spoil your holidays at all!!! Other times of year can be too hot,too crowded in the parks, and VERY wet!! If the parks are your main reason for going, Feb is a great time to go, and the family pics will be good too!!
You'll have a fab time whatever!

In winter the weather in Central Florida is dominated by how far South the cold fronts reach down. Normally they don't get down as far as Orlando but when they do there can be frosts and the citrus crop is ruined.
There are plenty of sites that give weather statistics on the web. For February the statistics are:
Average Max = 22C(72F)
Average Min = 11C(52F)
Mean = 17C(63F)
Record High = 32C(90F)
Record low = -3C(28F)
As someone said earlier the weather can change by more than 20F in a single day.
For some reason 65F in Florida always seems cold to me, but feels nice in UK!!
mr fibble: You may HAVE to go to Florida in February? Can I HAVE to go for you? I don't charge much for that service, and I can get done whatever it is that you have to get done....
Now after I refresh my coffee, I will HAVE to go look at the website pictures of the lakeside villa w/the big rectangular lap pool that I HAVE to go to in Decemeber (second time today I've logged on to see those pictures, and it is only 8 a.m. here- I know, I am helpless and addicted).
