I'm glad that you had a good flight with Thomas Cook. The top charter airline!

( I might be a bit biased here as I fly for them ) [msnwink]

    John,
Hooray!! It couldn't have happened to a nicer plane. So thats where the premier seats got to!!

I'm still not totally convinced it's a DC10 until I see the tail section (which is probably still in Sanford!!)

Still it does look like Linda hasn't too much to fear.

    Kevin.

LOL - it's definitely a DC-10 as you can tell by the shape and size of the cockpit windows (amongst other things). Click the link n my posting for a series of pictures of it being broken up - including shots of the tail being removed!

OK! I believe you. I can come out of hiding now

-----------But I'm still paranoid enough to think they could screw it back together again in time for my next trip with Monarch! ---- Perhaps they had more than one and have another one mothballed somewhere that no - one knows about!! [}]

I remain convinced for the time being, but will still have the recurring nightmares.

    Roger,
Booked with your mob again this October - if I mention your name will I get a better seat??

Don't fly Northwest since they still operate DC10, and on my last trip(Cheap airfare) the DC10 had problems outbound and inbound. Hope I never fly them again...

We flew NorthWorst on a DC10 from Amsterdam to Washington a few years ago now and I was not impressed at all. <blockquote id="quote" class="ffs">quote:Originally posted by jolliffee
