    vegetarian eating

    Hi,

Last time I went to Orlando, I really struggled with the food as I am a veggie. Yes, I know there is food to be found but it really is hard work. My partner is quite the opposite and loves meat! Any ideas where we can both go for somewhere to eat?

    Thanks in advance.

If you two want to go out for a fine meal, I suggest Chefs de France in the French pavilion at Epcot's World Showcase. Both Veg and non-Veg selections are fantastic, as is the wine selection (needless to say). One of the Rookes is also veggie and they seem to like this restaurant as well.

Most of the Chinese and Indian restaurants have Veg options. I am sure other good restaurants like Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze etc have too.

Good suggestions Nostromo - our whole family are veggie, including the children and we all love Chefs De France.

Other favourites would be: Chevys (Mexican - Portobello Mushroom Fahitas are wonderful), Chilis (burgers - will do any of the burgers as a bean burger), Olive Garden (best pizzas I've ever had), Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge (African buffet with loads of scrummy veggie options and deserts to die for).

My son is veggie and I would add Carrabas and Sweet Tomatoes to the above. Also any where with a salad bar. It isnt easy though and he does have much less choice than the rest of us particularly in the fast food sector,
