I believe you get a choice of free Sea World or Busch tickets with Discovery Cove which helps with your other theme park costs

Did DC a couple of weeks ago and all 4 of us (kids aged 13 and 9) cannot stop talking about it. A wonderful day from start to finish (start was like checking into a hotel!) Treated like guests at a 5 star hotel and the dolphin swim was awesome. We bought tickets called DC plus and had 14 days unlimited entrance to Sea World and Busch Gardens included in the price, well worth the extra money.

Worth every penny, we did it in 2000 when it first opened we swam with CJ and another couple for 1hr, can't wait for my daughter to be 7 (only 5 years to wait)so we can go again.

We were there this year, it is a dear item...but worth every penny. The kids really loved it and so did the adults. The park itself is great and the Dolphins are wonderful, its true you do only get about 30 mins in the water with the Dolphins but what a 30 mins.
Try to look at it as a complete package when looking at the price and not just x amount for swiming with dolpins.

    Don.

Where in the keys is the dolphin swim located? I have seen it in the virgin brochure as one of their trips but we will be trying to get down to the keys next year and it would be a great thing to do independantly.

I have absolutely no idea! We are going with friends, and my job was to book the flights and cars, and she booked the 2 trips we are doing! So, until the day I really don't know! I'll see if she has the brochure though...........

Found a photocopy she gave me........ [:I]

OK, full description is......... Florida Keys 2 day getaway with Dolphin swim. A once in a lifetime action packed 2 day trip including and Everglades airboat ride, an alligator and snake handling show, overnight resort acommodation in Key Largo with a BBQ style evening meal. Enjoy a continental breakfast before being transported to the Dolphins facility for an up front and personal dolphin experience and one to one swim. Truly an unforgettable experience.............

So, that's it! We will be going during our second week, and I will post a report during the third week of October, once we get back and have had a rest!

I have swum with dolphins in 3 different places on the Keys: Dolphins Plus, Theatre of The Sea and The Dolphin Research Centre. I have also swum at Discovery Cove twice (yes I am an addict [:I]). I have to say I think DC is the best overall experience of them all and it will be the one I do again although I have now found a swim with wild dolphins in the sea and may try to do that next summer - watch this space

We have two teenage girls who have been to florida several times and have now become very blase' and unimpressed about most things, however this year we went to DC and swam with the dolphins and the look of joy on their faces brought it all back to me and it was worth every penny, we bought the video and pictures which although expesnive are well worth it, if only for the memories. Must just point out the you do have to book early, we booked in October for Easter this year and when friends of our tried to book at little later for the same time it was full. Hope you have a great time
