clearwater for us too,did boat trip,stayed out extra half hour as the dolphins put on amazing show,so glad we got to see them in wild and the beach is beautifull

We been all over the world and i have to say that Clearwater beach rates as one of the best beaches i have seen. On an evening the sand almost looks like snow. We stayed at the Hilton hotel right on the beach and had a great time. Daytona is nice but is more commercical and the beach is not as good. Im also told that the water temperture is cooler in Daytona if your thinking of swimming.

What is there to do at clearwater for kids 7 & 10. Only ever been to Daytona and did body surfing and quad bikes. Anything like that at clearwater.

The beach is great to play on as even when its peak season it not very busy. The speed boat ride to see the dolphins is a must.
If you want theme parks Busch gardens is only 20-25 mins away.

Clearwater for me, was completely unimpressed by Daytona i'm afraid! Hubby liked it though[8D]

You could try Captain Memo's Pirate Cruise. Good fun for all ages. There is also the Marine Aquarium.
