There is another branch of the Guitar Center near Lakeland, its generally cheaper as its out of the "tourist spot", go south on I4 take exit 32 and turn left at the end of the exit ramp, its about half a mile on the left.

My daughter just bought a Gibson Flying V, the cheapest we could see it in the UK was about £800 plus a case, they were selling it at $950 including a proper hard case, as the guitar was market a little, they discounted it and it worked out at £415 approx. including the case.

The staff there are much more friendly and helpfull than those on Orange Blossom, they even reopened the store for us as we arrived 5 minutes after they closed.

This is good advice. My youngest has been saving for a year nearly to buy a new one when we go out in July. He went to the one opp' Wet n Wild and had the time of his life playing expensive guitars of his choice! We may try the Guitar Centre now. Roughly how far is that Lakeland one (once you hit the I4 that is)?

When my son and I were in the guitar shop in DTD Steve Vai came in for a look round (he was doing a gig at THOB in DTD that night) with G3, really nice guy.
