Try www.rentmiami.com And hang into your hat because a small condo will cost you as much as a large vacation villa in Orlando. There are a few and I mean a few villas to let in Miami area. They are exclusive and hugely expensive properties. I would serously consider a hotel suite which is what we did when we went and that cost enough. You could consider Naples. Driving across Alligator Alley, it is about 50 miles to Fort Lauderdale. It is a straight road and quick journey. There are some rental villas in Naples, dearer than Orlando but a lot cheaper than Miami.
