Just try searching for hotel forums in yahoo...and you'll find tons of info...
Well, if you want the truth this hotel has certainly went downhill. My friends stayed there in October and it took them a few attempts to get a semi decent room. They did nothing but moan about this hotel and of course it made it even worse when they came to visit us at our villa. They couldn't believe the difference (and space) and didn't want to go back to the hotel. They have 2 boys and they were all in one room, which you can imagine caused so much stress. The hotel was not as described in the BA brochure. Apparently it was classed as a 3 star, when in fact it felt like a one star. When they got back they complained to BA and were told that apparently there had been so many complaints regarding this hotel that they were removing it from their brochure. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
To be truthful I'm a bit gutted that so many people have said bad things about the hotel we're staying in. On the other hand everyone has different opinions of the quality of Hotels they stay in. I'll be happy as long as the hotel is clean, etc as you will all know you don't spend that much time in your room in Orlando anyway. I have requested that we stay in the resort part of the hotel and not the tower. I think I will keep on to Virgin Atlantic that my request is met. Previously (June 2003) we have stayed in the Ramada Inn by Wet n Wild, which wasn't the Hilton but was enough and in Disney All Stars (Sep 2004). We were at first a bit sick of the whole Disney thing but we are well gutted we're not there this year.
Anyway happy hols to you all
Bisset, we stayed there a few years ago. We found the main tower bit better than the motel type rooms with external landings in the grounds part of the complex. The rooms were a bit bigger and furnished better. Plus you are more handy for the shop and dining room should you want to use it. The year after that we stayed in a villa and have never stayed in a hotel since. In fact we loved it that much we bought one!![msnsmile] Give a villa a try next time yourself.[msnwink]

We do a lot of motels and hotels...I'm kind of like you if it clean I'm happy....its not like its going to be clean when we finish with it...we pig out on holiday....its the only time my kids don't fight...and are happy to watch silly movies and eat pizza together...and talk any problems out.......you'll have a great time...I'd not worry...if you're not happy make it known loud and clear at the deck...we have had some of the best hoildays in some really strange motels in the USA...we've never laughed so much after seeing the rooms...the best one had 50s funiture...and a lean everything rolled off the table...I don't think we stopped laughing for days...
