US Banks that don't charge you......

Morning All...

14 days left! And I am just sorting out the money side of things.

I have the Nationwide debit card as they don't charge you for withdrawing cash/using the visa abroad.

However US banks can still charge you for using their ATM's, a charge which Nationwide has no control over.

Do any of you know which Banks DON'T charge UK users at their ATM's? [?]

Hi Benny, I always use my Nationwide card in Florida. Sun Trust and Wachovia Banks don't charge for using their ATM's.

The other way is to get cash back in places like Walmarts, the same as you do with debit cards here !

Can you get cashback on UK debit cards then Jean? I'd thought it was only on US debit cards.

We tried to get cashback from Walmart on our Nationwide debit card and it would not allow us to do so.

Benny, if you use your Nationwide debit card in the ATMs at Publix you do not get charged a withdrawal fee (well we didn't last November/December).

As well as the others mentioned above I recently used my Nationwide debit card at Bank of America, and Winn Dixie and Target ATM's without any charges.
