Id say just a bit over an hour. Drive is nice and very easy to find. The beaches at Daytona are very active as you can pull your car on the beach so I really do not like that kind of activity around me while trying to enjoy myself but everyone has different tastes.

Just a question as I'm relatively new here, but why was the website link edited from my post? I can understand it if you're linking to a website that's selling or promoting something, but the ViaMichelin site (the website I referenced) is simply a routing tool that I think many people would find useful. It seems odd that in such a helpful forum as this, you're unable to post links to other websites that could be even more helpful [?]

If you want to try an air boat ride, you can always go to Boggy Creek, which is much closer, and will give you the air boat experience.

Sniff , i would imagine because it has links to Hotels etc and as the name suggests this is ostensibly a villa website. Consequently it is not in the best interests of the founders of this site to foster it?I imagine its against the forum rules but no doubt our moderator will confirm this

We did it from Kissimmee to Daytona at christmas in about 75 mins. The roads were not too bad asit two/three lanes almost all the way but Daytona was dead as it was winter season.
