Has anyone been to Silver Moon Drive-In Movie at Lakeland yet?

It is on our list of things to do when we go over next week.

Not sure to be honest. Just looked at their website and this is the directions they give ;

Take I-4 to the County Line Road exit (at the Hillsborough/Polk County line). Go south on County Line Road to U.S. 92 W. Turn left (east) and look for the flashing neon sign 3.5 miles ahead on the right.

Apparently there is a huge Publix warehouse that they say is a giant Publix birthday cake !!!!!

We went there in May it's a great piece of Americana, the owner is a real enthusiast and we loved it. It only costs $3 per head, you can use the speakers that hang on the car door or tune in you car radio to get the movie sound through your car speakers.
We had just come off a cruise ship the week before, the film that was showing the night we went was The Possidon Adventure[msneek]
Just as well it was the week after the cruise[msnwink]

Don't they have a Flea Market there some days as well? It's another on our list of things to try but haven't got round to it yet.

They do have a flea market advertised on their site. Might pay a visit to that and the Publix it talks about.
