after feeling better just read that its a Airbus B763 with a 2-4-2 configuration. now totally confused I just phoned them this afternoon and on the Sanford website it stated the plane yesterday was a 767-300 [msnscared]

unsure to be fair to MY travel if although this person has been told its Airbus B763 with a 2-4-2 in economy she never asked about Premair.

so anyone know or been on a plane that has 2-4-2 in economy but also has premair I have only every been on the 3-3-3 premair with toilets downstairs and anyone know about the airbus B763 compaired to the 767-300

I'm not surprised you're confused Ali. I'm as sure as I can be that there isn't an 'Airbus B763'. In fact, 'B763' usually refers to a Boeing 767-300 (763). The Airbus A300 usually has a 2-4-2 configuration in economy but each airline will configure its premium cabins differently.

It's not encouraging that the operator in this case doesn't seem to be able to give you any useful information. I hope it works out for you.

If it has a downstairs toilet half way down economy it is an Airbus.

    It definitely isn't a Boeing 767.

To clarify the confusionm the 767- 300 does has premiar at the front. On this aircraft the toilets are on the same level as the seating. The Airbus which flies out of Manchester and Gatwick has the toilets downstairs. The premiar section has its own toilets at the front.

threads were saying that on these flights going out of glasgow in economy there was no seat back tvs etc so this also got me panicing a bit but the TA has just got off the phone that this flight def. has Premair
do you think Dom that some of these planes have the no seat back tvs say in economy but still have the premair at the front.

When we flew on the old 767 they used to have they had the TV above your head. In premiar they issued us with small DVD players with a book of films to choose. This was 3 years ago so might have updated the plane since.
