Baseball Cages and Games in Orlando

Hi I am going on holiday to Orlando for a week this coming saturday(23rd June) and was hoping to either watch some baseball or have a go at batting in a batting cage, was wondering does anyone know of any close ones to the International Drive area or anywhere else around orlando?

Thanks for your help

Magor League Baseball has already started, so Tampa is the best place to see a MLB game. There are some batting cages along the Osceola PArkway, just opposite the Loop Shopping Mall. The have softball games there as well.

Hi Caroline

Batting cages and softball clover leaf can be found at Osceola Softball centre on John Young Parkway just below the junction with the Osceola Parkway and the Loop shopping centre. Our family go there everytime we are over as the boys are big fans of swinging a bat [msnsmile2]
From International road go along Sand Lake Road and then turn right onto John Young towards the 192. THe Centre is on your right after the Loop.

Never been myself but it may be worth taking a look at Disney World of sports web site
, I belvieve you will be able to find a local venue and dates for games.

Disney's Wide world of sports, does have baseball games but this is in the spring training break. MLB season has already started so the Atlanta Braves now play either at home or at the guests home field. Currently I think NFL have a training camp at Disney, which you can go and see.

Caroline Yakky Da to you, Have a wonderful time, and don't forget you are not english if they ask you are welsh.[msnwink]
