    Pirate Dinner Show.

Can anyone say if the Pirate show is worth seeing. There are four adult females going over to Florida next week and thought we'd go see a show. The other one everyone seems to like is the Cirque du Soleil show but i'm not sure i fancy clowns etc - what makes it so good?

    Thanks Elaine

Cirque du Soleil and the Pirate show are not in the same league, not even same planet.
I think you get what you pay for.
Cirque du Soleil is a bit on the exensive side, but extremely well done and very slick. We have seen it twice and would not hesitate to return. Cirque du Soleil is an international organistion with shows all over the world and that is evident in the performances.
Went to Pirates with some friends...We lost the plot somewhere and got fed up with the mediocre food, bland wine and unmemorable songs. Certainly would not go back

If I had to choose it would definitely be Cirque du Soleil, no contest. I found some reviews on the Florida Guide for you to read which will give you an idea of what you can expect

We have seen La Nouba twice and it was fantastic each time. I think you need to visit more than once because there is so much happening you cannot possibly take it all in first time!

We've done a few dinner shows which don't always cost a lot for a family night out. Our daughters enjoy them and we go open minded and have fun.

My family loves Cirque du Soleil, have been several times and like Glenda and Geoff we would go again. It's a very professional theatre show,to the standard of the London West End or Broadway. It's very clever, not just clowns with beautiful music. Every time we go we see something new - especially as we've had different seat positions - so much going on! I think if I was with four adult friends I would choose Cirque du Soleil.

My vote definitely goes to Cirque du Soleil and this is backed up by friends who love it and have been twice.

I would agree totally with Paul, not in the same league at all. We went to see Cirque earlier this year, hubby went under sufference as he really didnt fancy it. We were all amazed and would do it again without hesitation as it was excellent and worth every cent.

The shows that include dinner are ok if you are not expecting much of the food.

we've also seen La Nouba at Cirque Soleil and thought it was fantastic. It depends what sort of night you want, the dinner shows all run to the same sort of format and are great fun especially for a family night out, but there is no question for me that Cirque Soleil would be the choice for 4 adults. The clowns are great by the way, they warm up the audience and also do a great spot.

If you should go into a Denny's before making your decision, they have a $10 off voucher ( i think it's per person) for the pirates show. We popped into the one on the 192 v close to Home Depot and they had some there.
