We've just got back from our latest trip (with our four children - 13;10;8 and 2) and we "found" Applebee's on this occasion. The menu was very varied and our 2year old, who was having a particularly fussy eating three weeks, wolfed down the children's pasta dish as if it was going to be her last meal.

We also tried out Cracker Barrel having heard good things but I have to say that we were disappointed and I probably won't go there again.

On the Character dining front, we have done a Mickey Breakfast at the Contemporary Resort within Disney several times, and every time it has been fantastic. The characters really work the room to make sure that everyone has a turn and the food was fab (and as it's a buffet the kids could pick and choose). You will need to book in advance though - can't quite remember how far in advance you can make a reservation but it is quite a long time (so would be good to look at now for July) to make sure you get the seating time you want.

    Have a great trip!

There are some great restaurants and diners in the town of Celebration. http://celebrationtowncenter.com/ee/index.php/dining/
Especially the Celebration Town Tavern www.thecelebrationtowntavern.com
    The Clam Chowder was fantastic.[msntongue]
There is also a great diner next door.

We have two children who are now aged 6 and 7.

We have tried many restaurants with them over the years. They really like going to TGI Friday's at the Crossroads, we eat there early on to avoid the crowds then, as long as they are not too tired we have a game of Pirate Golf afterwards as it is next door.

They also like eating in the Rain Forest Cafe and the new T Rex Restaurants at Downtown Disney.

Our favourite character Dining experience was Chef Mickey at the Contemporary Resort. However the whole family enjoyed the Garden Grill at Epcot, which is in the same building as Soarin on the next floor up. The food was really nice, there was something for all of us and we got to see the characters as well. However, you will need to check to see if this is still character dining in this restaurant as we seem to remember someone saying that it had changed.

Other restaurants which we always visit with the children are Manny's (They like drawing on the paper table cloth!!) Applebees and Bahama Breeze.

    Enjoy,

    Clair.
