pre registration with budget

hi, looking at using budget this year, certainly seems a mix bag of reviews on here looking at previous threads. so what i want to know is, we are looking at the gold insurance with multiple drivers, can we pre register and miss the queues and the hard sell ?
just wondering if this site prices matches, which i know is difficult with so many options on renting cars in the usa.?

Yes we had the gold insuranace and you can pre-register and go straight to the kiosk in the carpark - don't forget to take the credit card that you used when you pre-registered for the credit card swip

We have used the pre register service three times with Budget and it has always worked well

I think it depends on where you fly into, we flew into Sanford in September, had already pre-registered so went to the booth in the car park - it was closed, we then had to go back to the desk and queue - no pre-registered lane, by then a lot of people had got there before us. Car was okay though just thought I'd let you know the booth isn't always open, on return to Sanford two weeks later it was still closed.

When do you pre-reigister? Is this something you do when ordering the car, or is it like Dollar Express and you have to have a card with a number to use ever time.

When you get your voucher from USCarHire there is a link, in very small print, half way down the front page. Click on the link. This does not produce a card but you will get confirmation from Budget.

You can register fro Budget Fastrack yourself which then gives you a card and number, this is exactly the same as Pre-Registering.

sorry I don't think I made my question clear enough, when pre registering with budget can you add multiple drivers and still pick your car up at the kiosk in the car park. I will be picking up two cars and adding 4 drivers on each.

As found in the USCarhire FAQ:

Budget Fast Track - How do additional drivers register?


•When you complete the Budget Fast Track, only the lead driver will need to pre-register. Additional drivers are added at the kiosk in the car park (where they will need to show their driving license and passport), so there is no need to go to the main rental desk.
