    Kissimmee (historic) Old Town

Take the 192 towards St Cloud and turn right under the archway entrance to the historic part of old Kissimmee.

Antique shops (which look small until you get inside and find out how huge they are inside) on both right and left sides (one has a Coke machine converted into a fridge for $795 - I wanted it!) for everything you can think of (and some of the things you can't!). They also have a good selection of old gold jewellery (jewelry).

Also here is a pharmacy with coffee shop (coke is 60 cents a glass and two of these and one coffee came to $1.49!) which might be a good place for lunch, music store, Buddhist store, travel agents, die cast model cars, beauty salon and hairdressers and more - a real eclectic mix.

I'm sure this is the same place Blott where on a Saturday night there is a gathering of owners and their 'collectors cars'. Old cars re-vamped, dozens of them, and well worth going down to have a look at, but be careful many of them are up for sale, we were soooooo tempted!!!

Turquoise cadillac - very nice! Can just see myself in that! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I think the cars are at the Kissimmee Old Town which is west on the 192 and on the left just before the I4 junction. This is the one with the huge bungee jump things.

Historic Kissimmee is on the east end of the 192 through the big archway and has all the antique shops.

I have always thought the cars were at the former on a Fri and Sat night.

Thatt's right John-they cruise the cars about 8-30 on a Saturday night-it's a good cheap night out.
