Continental Airlines baggage charges

Can anyone advise on Continental airlines baggage charges. The table given on their website at http://www.continental.com/CMS/en-US...edBaggage.aspx would indicate that the first bag is free, but the second bag is $50.

However, the line under the table does not display correctly in IE or Firefox, but seems to read,

Date of Ticket Purchase Between - January 9, 2010 and March 9, 2011
1st bag checked and paid online at continental.com $23
1st bag checked and paid at airport $25
2nd bag checked and paid online at continental.com $32
2nd bag checked and paid at airport N/A

If the above is correct, then the first table is pointless.

So what are the charges for first and second bags with Continental?

Reading from the link you posted it appears that the charges only apply to flights that have *'s none of the flights from Europe have *'s so I would read that 1st bag free, 2nd bag $50

Ah....yes this is probably what it means. Fantastic, extra case @ $50 for all my goodies.
