I wouldn't worry, we had a lot of rain when we were there in June but not as much as we have had since we got back. Even if you get some rain at least it will be nice and hot, we have had to put the heating back on[]

Beautiful weather at the moment. The usual high temps all day and nice refreshing rain for an hour or so in the afternoon.

Wish I could say the same about the weather here - instead it is not that warm and we have just had a heavy thunderstorm and thought we were going to lose our power as our lights kept flickering. Would willingly put up with rain if I could be in Florida at the moment as at least it is warm rain this time of year.

Arrived last night, weather good, beautiful morning, now 1:45pm and just about to have a downpour to take the edge of it. News said expected 93' this afternoon.

Also on news some details of extension to Fantasy World, ...... it just keeps getting better and better.!

Went to Cape Coral on the Gulf coast on the 22nd June and for about the 1st 5 days in was dull and wet but it was Tropical Storm Debby passing through, when it had passed it was just a normal Florida summer with storms in the afternoon

Hey, this is summer in Florida. It always rains in the afternoon.
It was way worse with TS Debby, who flooded us out in downtown Tampa.
Went back to the UK for a week recently for a family wedding, and it was COLD and extremely wet with flooding, as we tried to drive from Swansea over to Suffolk, the M5, M42 etc were all very slow traffic and many roads were flooded. The British Grand Prix was also affected by the same weather! So give me the warm rain in Florida any day......
In between the welcome showers it is sunny and very hot. Watch you do not get burnt as the UV index is off the scale

Looks like it is all about to change as the jet stream seems to (at long last) be on the move so hopefully we will still get some summer. Yesterday was our first completely dry day for what seemed ages.
