Shamu Stadium Reopens

The maintenance of Shamu Stadium is complete and the shows will begin again next week. This week they are are doing rehearsal shows.

Were there for the 3rd "show" of the first day of rehersals....
As whales hadn't seen the arena for over 3 months, according to a trainer all they did first reheral was swim in & out !!!
Second she described as "awsome"...
The third (6pm) we saw & it genuinely was "awsome"
Very little obvious trainer intervention - just tapping the water with a long pole but some tremendous leaps & with 3 whales using their flukes at the same time, the "splash zone" truely was !!! Have never seen so many soaked folk [msnsmile2]
If that was a "rehersal" the polished show should be really something .........
