    highland reserve

I am staying at Highland reserve in the summer. I was wondering if anyone had any information about the villas there and the surrounding area. How far is it away from all the theme parks?

    Thank you for the help

Hi Katy and welcome to the forum.

Highland Reserve is a great community and located close to the new shopping complex which has a Publix, Pizza and other shops

Disney is around 15 minutes from Highland[msnsmile2]

There are 2 builders on Highlands Katy. We own a Lennar, the other builder is Engle. It is a great community with fabulous villas, I am sure you will love it. It is very convenient for all the theme parks

I have played golf at Higlands, the natives are not friendly if you hit their house with a golf ball but if you buy a house on a golf course I suppose you have got to expect that type of thing. I think the quote of 15 mins to Disney is a bit on the generous side, I would put it closer to 20-25, that would make Seaworld about 30-35 and Universal and IOA 35-40.

Sorry Paul. I have to disagree, we have done the journey to Disney from Highlands many many times and the normal journey time would be less than 15 minutes

I'd agree with Ruth, we have done it many times in less than 15 minutes.

Lovely community you will enjoy it and very accessible to everywhere yet with a tranquil feel with having the golf course. There is a Publix supermarket and small supermarket adjacent too. Lovely to stroll around in the evening too.

We also have a villa at Highlands Reserve and it is a lovely and relaxing place to stay. We have had 2 golf balls go through our windows, but that is a hazard of having a villa overlooking the golf course. We have done the journey to Disney in less than 15 minutestoo.

Katy, are you hiring a car? I recommend to all my guests to hire a car as there are no bus services at HR. Taxis will be expensive if you wish to use the all the time.
